About the 28 Day Challenge
The ‘28 Day Challenge’ is ideal for women new to detoxification and cleansing. A great starting point for many health goals, this simple and effective program features delicious and healthy foods programmed together with a fun yet challenging exercise program to increase your energy and vitality.
The first 5 Days
The Detox Diet is a weeklong retreat for your body, in which it can recover and replenish. It’s an intensive way of helping you get back on track. Try to structure your week with some early morning walks or jogs, a massage and plenty of quiet nights in, limited TV and relax reading a good book.
The next 23 Days
After completing your first 5 days you should be feeling much lighter, more energized, less bloated and ready to embark on the next 23 days of our program. Your menu plan is simple and you get to choose what you want to eat from our ‘Foods to Eat’ guide and what ‘Foods to Avoid’ and follow an ‘Eating Plan’ that can be adapted to your everyday life for many years to come. We will also give you easy to follow recipes, healthy eating tips, food diaries and a daily journal to complete to ensure you are keeping on track.

About the Pre Training Assessment Meeting
The 28 day Challenge WELCOME night starts off with a pre-training assessment meeting (the Thursday evening before training commences), which involves a ‘Personal Assessment’ indoors, and 'Physical Assessment' outdoors conducted by the team of Urban Goddess Personal Trainers. Your trainers will take you through the '28 day Challenge Manual' which includes nutritional and exercise advice, tips and goal setting and an easy to follow realistic menu and food diary. Following this a 'Health Talk' will be presented by a naturopath focusing on the menu plan and practical advise to set you on the right path towards improving your overall health and well-being.
NOTE: To prepare you for the pre-training assessment night and so you can kick start your 28 Day Challenge the following day you will be emailed the first '5 Day Detox' program Sunday prior.
About the Training Sessions
You have completed your 'Personal and Physical Assessment' and almost finished your '5 Day DETOX' just in time for your 3-Weeks of training to begin.
You can choose to train 1,2 or 3 times per week and can swap your sessions around to suit as long as you complete the number of sessions within the 3 weeks of training. Your energy levels should be on the rise and ready to give it your best at your training sessions. You can choose to train one, two or three times per week depending on your time schedule and commitment. Each session consists of a medium impact 60-min boxing style workout combining cardio training, exercise drills and weights, completed with a stretching routine. No partner is required and you don’t have to be fit to start however your trainers will step it up a notch each week to keep you working hard. You have the option to weigh-in before your training sessions and record your results on our register & complete a food diary to pass in each week that will be handed on to our naturopath to reply directly back to you.
We advise you to wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a hat when sunny and jacket for your cool down. All equipment is supplied – training mats, boxing gear and weights, which is all maintained and cleaned regularly.
NOTE: We do recommend that you carry out extra training in your own time to gain maximum benefit and results for the 28 Day Challenge and will talk about this more on the Welcome Night.
About the Post Training Assessment Night
The 28 Day Challenge doesn't finish when your 3-Weeks of training finishes as you have a post-training assessment night the following, Thursday, which will take you to your final day 28 of the CHALLENGE. Your Urban Goddess Personal Trainers will complete your 'Personal and Physical Assessment' and record your reduced measurements and increased fitness achievements. To conclude the 28 Day Challenge a 'Health Talk' will be presented by our naturopath including an open discussion to answer any questions. We want you to continue on your health and fitness journey as this is just the beginning and welcome you back to continue your training with us either for an 8-Week Term of 'Beach Camp for Goddesses' offering a variety of sessions or some Personal Training Sessions.
The overall '28 Day Challenge Winner' will receive 'Goddess Challenge Package' for her efforts taking home a Pamper Voucher valued at $100 from Tamarind Day Spa - Hair Style from Unique Hair Resort and Sports Pack from Runnulla.
