FAQs

How long are the workouts?

The workouts are 1¼ hours. Starting with 5-minutes of gentle stretching, the walk is approximately 45-minutes which includes various exercises along the way with your stroller, followed by 15-minutes of mat work & abs and 10-minutes of stretching to end the session.

How to book your own "BabyFIT for Goddesses" training session?

Find a time that is suitable for a minimum of 8 at a time and location that suits you and we will do the rest. If you are having trouble getting a group together contact us as we may have another session running or about to start. BabyFIT is all out getting you and your baby out and about, having some fun whilst getting fit at the same time. We have a play pen and blankets for the little crawlers who don't like to sit in the pram and also allow time for you to attend to your little ones so everyone is happy.

What do I do if my baby gets fussy?

Our first priority is the happiness of your baby. Tend to your baby first. Because we stop every few minutes for body toning, you can always catch up with us if you get behind. We will do our very best to make the class enjoyable for both you and your baby!

What do I need?
You, your baby and the stroller. Just about any kind of stroller will do so long as it's not prone to tipping. We also suggest you bring WATER, a hat or sunblock for both you and your baby.

Tips for BabyFIT for Goddesses

* Whether you are an avid runner, a serious jogger or a casual stroller, exercising with a stroller may take a bit of getting use to but generally most find it a pleasurable experience and the health benefits of your child joining you outside while you exercise are immense.  Not only do they get the much needed fresh air but also the bonding opportunities while exercising are wonderful for Mum.

* Take snacks safe enough to have while running and lots of fluids for your passengers as well as yourself.  Dehydration is not good. Keep in mind the temperature outside; your children won't be the same temperature as yourself since they are not exerting the energy like yourself.

* Toys should be attached so they don't get lost or thrown out along the way and most importantly make sure they can't get stuck in the wheels.

* Watch for wind, always place the brake on when you stop, even the slightest breeze can start your stroller moving.

* Safety of your passengers is most important.  Five point harness systems keep children secure, always check that brakes are working and don't get too tired and careless.
