Personal training - FAQ

Outdoor Training

Due to the nature of outdoor training we aim to please as best we can to make your sessions enjoyable and comfortable depending on the conditions. We understand that hot and cold temperatures, wind and rain can affect a training session - however this is the nature of OUTDOOR training. Your trainers are experienced to deal with finding the best locations to deal with the elements and make your sessions as pleasant as possible. We encourage you to come to training regardless of the weather as you could be pleasantly surprised and we do not cancel ANY sessions early.

What to Wear

Wear what you are comfortable to train in, loose, non-restrictive clothing with a good pair of runner or x-trainers and a hat for sunny days. We have sunscreen and fly/insect repellent in the Urban Goddess Van if you ever need to use some - please don't hesitate to ask. It is advisable to bring a jacket for the stretching and cool down set. Dress for the weather and come prepared!

What if I’m having a low energy day and lacking motivation?

If you're just having a low energy day or not feeling motivated to come to training, just let us know. It’s better to attend and have a lighter session than to not come at all. Often just coming in is all it takes to get motivated and group exercise is fun!

Cancellation Policy

Our Primary goal is provide the best possible service to our clientele. In order to accomplish this goal, we work on an appointment-based schedule to allow you the private and individualised time required for your personal-training session including preparation and planning before and after your scheduled session.

Because of this schedule, it is important that clients provide their trainer with proper notice when they need to cancel an appointment. If you do need to cancel an appointment, we do require 24 hours notice. Otherwise you will be charged for the 50% of your session fee unless we can fill your appointment time with another client on short notice. Cancelling within 6 hours of your scheduled appointment
will incur the full rate of your training session.

We understand that in times of emergencies and illness this is not always possible. Circumstances such as these will be taken into consideration. Even if you’re just having a low energy day, it’s better to come in and have a light session or use the time to plan with your trainer and measure your results. Often just coming to your training session is all it takes to get motivated!
